Debbie Bliss Amalfi is quiet the business. A magnificent blend of summer fibres; cotton, linen, viscose and silk produce a fine, soft yarn with a very subtle marbled effect which sits beautifully against the skin.
This book combines comfort and relaxation in garments which range from easy and straight forward to complex and challenging stopping off at intermediate as in the Ribbed cardi with flounced edges.
Or as my mother in law keeps saying " It isn't difficult, it's just awkward, you start knitting it from the top down!"
You also end up knitting the whole body on circular needles, but it gets the job done!
The yarn comes in shades like a summer fruit salad and is recommended but if you fancy using something else I would suggest Twilleys Freedom Gorgeous Dk a bamboo rich yarn or Twilleys Freedom Sincere Dk, one of my favourites, soft as cream and nice to use, delicious!
